This year, the company is giving an important step by bringing 5G connectivity to its mid-range smartphones.
The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G And A72 5G
The Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72 5Garrived in March to be some of the company’s best-selling smartphones in 2021. Unfortunately, the availability of these devices is still limited.
The Galaxy A52 4G is available in the Indian market with a starting price of INR 26,499 ($360/€300). Now, the company is gearing up to reveal the variant with fifth-gen network support even though there is still no operating 5G network in the country.
For now, it’s unclear when the company will officially bring the device to the country. Especially, due to the second wave of COVID-19 in the country that is forcing many companies to hold their launches for a little time. Anyway, the device will cost around INR 5,000 ($70/€55) higher than the non-5G variant.
The Galaxy A52 Flaunts
The Galaxy A52 5G flaunts a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels of resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The panel has Gorilla Glass 5 and has a center-aligned punch-hole that comprises a 32MP selfie snapper. The device carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset which is aided by an Adreno 619 GPU. It is available in variants with 6GB and 8GB of RAM.
In the camera department, the handset does not disappoint. It brings a Quad-Camera led by a 64MP unit, a 12MP ultrawide module, a 5MP macro, and a 5MP depth-sensing module.
