The device looks new since there isn’t a Max variant in China or Europe. However, we suspect that it is, in fact, a rebadged Realme GT Neo with Dimensity 1200 SoC.
Yesterday, we got a confirmation of the device’s launch for May 4. Alongside the new smartphone, the company would also announce a new Realme TV.
The Realme X7 Max just like its Chinese counterpart may come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of Internal Storage.
The lights will be kept by a 4,500mAh battery complete with 50W fast-charging. The device also has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a primary camera with 64MP resolution.
As far as the new Realme TV is concerned, it is rumored to be a new 43-inch panel with SLED technology. It would mark the arrival of Realme’s SLED technology to smaller smart TVs and more affordable prices.
In related news, Realme announced that it will partner will civil society organizations across the country. The company intends to use its resources to help in the oxygen shortage crisis the country is facing.
It will also donate masks via its offline stores. Other smartphone brands such as Xiaomi, Vivo, Apple, and Google have also pledged to help India with relief measures. Xiaomi said that it will buy over 1,000 oxygen concentrators worth Rs 3 crore.
