Usually, the same model costs more in the global market rather than in China. So it’s often beneficial to get hands-on new smartphones by directly buying from Chinese stores.
If you still doubt, just compare the prices of Xiaomi or Huawei smartphones. Of course, there are serious reasons – tax rates and operators.
The OPPO A94 5G version sports the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor. It uses an AMOLED screen with a 6.43-inch 1080P resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.
There is a hole in the upper left corner, which hosts a 16MP camera. On the opposite side, the phone carries a quad-camera, which consists of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 2MP macro and depth of field lenses.
As you can see, a model with such a configuration can be sold for nearly 3,000 yuan (384 Euros) in the European market.
However, in China, many will ignore it. After all, the MediaTek Dimensity 800U was hot last year. And now, in China, smartphones with this processor cost around 1300 yuan (166 Euros) at most. On the contrary, for 2800 yuan (358 Euros).
So it turns out for Chinese manufacturers it’s quite beneficial to sell their products globally. On the other hand, this is one of the main reasons why Chinese smartphones are so competitive.
