How is Honor doing after leaving the Huawei protectorate? It seems that the first answer to this question will be possible within the launch of the Honor V40 line, which will be released next week. But there are already alarm bells.
The remaining days before the premiere are used by insiders to find out more about the new products. And one of the last and curious details is the price of the Honor V40. Someone has leaked an image of a shipping invoice from a warehouse of a batch of smartphones to the network, which contains a price tag for an Honor V40 variant of $617.
According to reports, the Honor V40 is based on the eight-core Dimensity 1000+ chip, which is currently the most powerful processor in the MediaTek lineup. They promise a 6.72-inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 300 Hz response rate.
A new official teaser dedicated to the flagship Honor V40 5G has appeared on the Web. It captures the smartphone from different angles, which once again makes it possible to evaluate its design. But for us, the date indicated above is much more important.
The reason for the postponement is not named, but at least it is known that sales will start two hours after the announcement. A short video showing the V40 live also appeared on the Web. Moreover, the brightest model with a pink color was chosen for the show.
Something is already known about the characteristics of the Honor V40 5G. For example, the main camera uses sensors with a resolution of 50, 8, 2, and 2 megapixels. It will run the Dimensity 1000+ SoC. 66W wired charging and 55W wireless charging are supported.
Honor V40's launch date has been postponed to January 22. The smartphone was supposed to launch on January 18 but Honor took to Weibo to announce that the phone will launch and go on sale on Friday, January 22 instead. pic.twitter.com/bZkE2Tl7GH
