It seems that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will become the first flagship to launch with the Snapdragon 875 SoC. It is not yet clear what the device will offer us in terms of technical content, and some information suggests that there will be a minimum of innovations against the background of the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
Now, the famous insider @UniverseIce has revealed some details regarding the camera of the smartphone. According to him, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will receive only a slightly improved 108-megapixel sensor, ISOCELL Bright HM3, with the same 0.8-micron pixels, and will complement it with laser autofocus.
There is no information on the other modules yet, but everything goes to the fact that the Koreans will simply update last year’s sensors with new models with some improvements in technical characteristics. The same goes for the transformations in terms of the display, battery, and all other contents of the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Samsung wants to take advantage of the fall of Huawei and is rushing to launch the Galaxy S21 series. We have confirmations of this by sources familiar with the company’s plans. According to them, the Galaxy S21 family will be available a month earlier than usual – in January 2021. An indirectly fast release is also confirmed by the more frequent leaks of information about the new products.
We expect that the display refresh rate will be 120 Hz; and the smartphone will run the Exynos 2100 processor or Snapdragon 875 (depending on the region of sale). The dimensions of the flagship body will be 165.1×5.6×8.9 mm
