Realme is a two-year-old brand that already figures as one of the most expressive smartphone brands in the market. Nowadays the company does more than just smartphones and is constantly investing in the AIoT segment and wearable segment. However, the brand still has smartphones as its core products. Based on this, Realme has been on a roll with almost monthly smartphone releases.
According to the highly popular tech influencer Mukul Sharma, the handset will reach the Indian stronghold in either late November or early in December. For the next month, India will quite hectic due to the Diwali Festive season. While some companies are betting on the event to boost their sales and even launch Diwali special edition smartphones
The Realme C17 is a very competitive entry-level smartphone. The good is that it actually offers good performance and not sacrifices it for the sake of price. The most important detail is that it carries the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC under the hood.
This is one of the best low-end chipsets out there since it brings 4x Cortex-A73 cores + 4x Cortex-A55 cores to the table. The device is paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 UFS 2.1 storage.
This surely is a good combo for a device that sits in the low-end to the mid-range category. It flaunts a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 1,600 x 720 pixels of resolution and 600 nits peak brightness. The most interesting bit is that it has a 90Hz refresh rate.
The device has a top-left aligned punch hole in the front for the 8MP selfie snapper. Moving around to the back, we have a Quad-Camera array comprising a 13MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors. The device comes with a huge 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging.
