Major smartphone manufacturers release new flagship phones one after another. So it’s Huawei’s turn. And we are waiting for the Huawei Mate 40 Pro to come soon. In mid-September, Huawei’s consumer business CEO Yu Chengdong was talking about the next generation Mate series phones in a video on social media.
Much earlier, we learned that the Huawei Mate 40 series includes 4 models of Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro +, and Mate 40 RS Porsche Design. Huawei’s annual flagship Mate 40 series may be released globally in late October.
Huawei Mate 40 series has innovative and upgraded video recording functions. The Mate 30 series released last year came with the Kirin 990 chip. Phones from this series also support 4K resolution time-lapse photography as well as Huawei’s first BM3D SLR image noise reduction technology and dual-domain joint video noise reduction technology. The latter makes noise processing more accurate during video shooting.
Previously, we have reported that the standard version of the Mate 40 will carry a curved screen + rear triple-camera solution. The higher model will have a combination of a waterfall screen + rear quad-camera module.
